Zoodochou Pigis Polyclinic is a family-run private hospital with a long and successful history specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Founded in 1993 by Dr. Marios Liassides, as a successor to his previously run private Obstetric & Gynaecology clinic from 1987 to 1993, the Zoodochou Pigis Polyclinic has established its reputation on trust, quality, integrity, and high level international medical standards and practices.
FETAL MEDICINE CENTRE
His son, Dr Chris M Liassides, continuing in the tradition of his father, established the Zoodochou Pigis Fetal Medicine Centre, which provides a new level of image quality for prenatal scanning (1st, 2nd and 3rd trimester scans), in HD, 3D and 4D, using breakthrough technologies with the GE Voluson™ E10 OLED.
UNIVERSITY CENTRE
Zoodochou Pigis Polyclinic co-operates with the University of Nicosia Medical School for the Medical Students' Clinical training program.
Pioneering obstetrics the clinic provides also the opportunity to mothers choosing water birth-labour in water.
